Can We make changes to a method in a standard web dynpro application

Hi Experts,

I am new to web dynpro ABAP, i have standard web dynpro application this application is calling lot of other web dynpro applications, i want to make changes in one of the method i want to add a peice of code inside the method, when i try to create an enhancement i could able to create it but didn't get any place holder to write my logic , then i went in change mode to that method where i want to insert some code then a message box came and asked do u want to make repairs in login language or original language i have selected make repairs in login language then it asked for transport request, i have provide some request then finally i could able to insert my code and activated the method and my logic is working fine. Can any one suggest me what i did is wrong or is it ok, i have tried to find the class of the method which i inserted code, but i didn't find any class it is related to it. it is a method in a view so i have did the modifications in the above manner. Any iputs will be greatly appreciated.
