Filtering Entry points

Hi All,

We have a requirement to create different brand of portal for our business areas. I tried to implement this by filtering TLN and creating desktop as mentioned in the following help file (SPS14).

But this didn't work for me. Is it require any other configuration, if anybody implemented this scenario, please help.
