Hello All,
I am new to SAP HANA and trying to learn it using SAP HANA in Google Cloud.
I am trying to start and stop SAP HANA using cockpit but I think user doesn't have the SAPControl Access. I am also trying to access cockpit using sidadm but couldn't find how to provide access to cockpit.
Please provide a blog or any link that can help me on it.

Please login to the cockpit-admin-web-app, click on Edit for systemdb resource and uncheck the SAP control connection. Now, you should be able to stop the system. Please refer to the attached snapshot.

After you login to Cockpit, select "Resources" to configure your resource for SYSTEMDB or tenant DB:
Then you can define your credentials by using sidadm:
After that, once you go into the management of this resource, you can start/stop the DB as highlighted in the "System DB Monitoring and Administration" part:
