Access SAP HANA Cockpit using SIDADM

Hello All,

I am new to SAP HANA and trying to learn it using SAP HANA in Google Cloud.

I am trying to start and stop SAP HANA using cockpit but I think user doesn't have the SAPControl Access. I am also trying to access cockpit using sidadm but couldn't find how to provide access to cockpit.

Please provide a blog or any link that can help me on it.

    Hi Alok,

After you login to Cockpit, select "Resources" to configure your resource for SYSTEMDB or tenant DB:

Then you can define your credentials by using sidadm:

After that, once you go into the management of this resource, you can start/stop the DB as highlighted in the "System DB Monitoring and Administration" part:

    Hi Alok,

Please login to the cockpit-admin-web-app, click on Edit for systemdb resource and uncheck the SAP control connection. Now, you should be able to stop the system. Please refer to the attached snapshot.
