Procurement type change

Dear Gurus,

I need to change the procurement type from F to E (inhouse production) but system is not allowing me to do it as field is greyed. Please help as how to proceed?

Hi Obie,

Check in Tcode OMSR for field name MARC-BESKZ for your material type is selected for hide column or not ?

if yes then you must change the selected on Opt. Entry column.

You're advice was helpful but please assist me a little more. It worked on Client 300 but its did not in 100. When I visited OMSR, I found that the Opt Entry had already been chosen for MM02 but I still could not change the procurement type

Hi Obie,

Go to OMS2 select your Material Type and Check in Internal / External Purchase orders tab Whether Internal Purchase Orders are allowed.

Also Go to OMSR and Check the Field is Choosed against any Material type apart from Trxn wise.

Hi Obbie,

Check field reference in OMS2 for your material type, double click the material type and you will find what is field reference for your material type.

And make sure in OMSR for field MARC-BESKZ and your field reference is set to optional entry.

Hi

First check in OMS2 if the material type being used ofr the material allows In house production, then only you will be able to change this field.

IN OMS2, slect the Material type & click on details.in that you have two fields

Ext. Purchase Orders - 2 External purchase orders allowed

Int. purchase orders - 2 Internal purchase orders allowed

Maintain them
