Depreciation to start from next month of purchase

Hi Gurus

As per requirements from user , we need to maintain settings such that depreciation should start from next month of purchase of asset on that asset.

Please suggest me the settings need to be done for that.

using AFAMP transaction code, create a new period control method. Enter a key for period control method and give description.

Under period control Acquisition and Additions , select standard period control key "11 - Next month". For retirement and transfer select relevant period control.

Select this period control method in Depreciation key along with other methods.

Make a period control method by using period control 11 (dep start next month) and assign it to dep key.
