How to change payscale level for the previous date for an employee.

Hi Experts...

Some how my user has wrongly changed the Grade of an employee from 01.01.2006.Actually he has to be in A3 Grade.Some how it has changed to A4 grade even though

now also we are paying him as per A3 grade only.How to change the grade of that particular employee from 01.01.2006 onwards.Please advice.

Please do an action with backdated from the date you want and change the IT 1

hai sai,

once you change the pay scale grade at IT0008,and update that in control record,as per the changes you need to change the earliest retro calculation date,and run the pay roll again for the selected employee.

Thanks for the reply.Even though the payscale grade is changed on 01012006 the payelements are matched with the correct payscale grade level.Is there any problem with Retro accounting.

if payments does match then there should be no problem.

retrogives the differential amount if any.

as the re is no difference you can go ahead.

but to be sure check this scenario in D server once.

When i change the payscalegrade it is firing retro and showing some amount in negative.and also instead of showing professional tax as Rs.80/- it is showing up Rs.20/-.

What could be the problem.where should i need modifications.

hi,

the amounts in basic !4,15 and every thing should match from the day of change other wise it will calculate all the retro.

try one thing in D serevr try changing for an employee.

for the above scenarion.

and change the forced retro in 0003 infotype to just last month and check for the results.
