Hello Netweaver Gurus,
After I managed to upload the development trial installation file to a VM on GCP, I was able to extract the installation data and launch the command ./sapinst
The command completed successfully and asked to continue the installation by clicking on the URL provided,
https://<hostname.internal>:4237/sapinst/docs/index.html
The above "DNS" name got generated without any additional inputs from installer.
The DNS name seemed to be bound to the primary internal ipaddress of the VM, but I could only access its external ipaddress.
I'm wondering if there is a way I can tweak, so that the DNS name is to bind to the external ipaddress instead ? then I should be able to access the provided URL and continue the installation ?
Any idea or suggestion is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Nam T.
Hi Yogesh,
Thanks for your reply.
I opened the firewall for http & https at port 4237, then use the SAP Internet connection seemed to work for the external ip address.
Best,
Nam

Is there any way you can assign secondary ip ans set skip at source?
