Scheduling WEBI Report with 2 queries and two different points in time

Hello everybody,

I'm using version 4.1. I'm attempting to create a report that shows me the status of an event as of one date and the status of that same date as of another date. For example, I want to know the status as of 12/1/17 and the status as of 1/30/18 and I want both of those statuses to show next to each other on one line in the report (both of these queries are using the same universe).

I've managed to create the report using the merge feature. I had to run each query by itself to get the correct dates. I have everything laid out how I want it to show. The issue is when I go to schedule the report there is an 'As Of Date' prompt that requires me to enter in a date and whatever date I enter into this prompt is the date both queries use, so it's messing up my report.

Is there a way to schedule the 2 query report and have the queries look at two separate as of dates?

Any help will be useful. Thanks.

may be your prompts in both the queries have the same text. that is why you are seeing one date prompt only. try changing the text on 2nd query prompt different than 1st query prompt.

There are various ways to achieve this end results. You can use date object from your list of available objects in query filter that refers to same field that is referred in the prompt filter and then make the prompts in both the query mandatory (it can be made mandatory by keeping "optional prompt" unchecked).
