Version management

We need some help with version management. In QAS when we change a price on a PO we're prompted to go the the version tab and fill out the reason, created by etc. and then click on the flag to refresh and reset the release. However, when we do this in PRD the flag doesn't appear and therefore the release doesn't get reset. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Eric

Thanks Charlie,

Would you happen to know where the config is for this. Thanks again!

Hi,

Go to SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Version Management > Set Up Version Management for External Purchasing Documents

We've found that if we change the PO and don't print it, the message to change the version doesn't appear but the releases are reset. If we make changes to the PO and print it the message to change the version appears but the releases don't get reset. So there seems to be a proble a problem with the output. Any idea's?

Thanks

Hi,

Release reset depends on the Changeability indicator and % maintain in config. for Release indicator.

Kindly check the same in SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Release Procedure for Purchase Orders > Define Release Procedure for Purchase Orders > Release indicator

Just make sure with your QAS client and Production client config is identical...

there must be some diff.
