Dear friends
I am having one scenario as follows
Presently client having one mail storage location in which materials are stores
In different Bin such as A-01, C-20 AF-10 whatever (about 200 Bin)
In each such bin there is certain material like 5 different types of valve in A-01
5 different types of barring in AF-10 for example
In present system (non SAP) they can see the stock of material Bin wise
But whenever the bin is empty they will assign the same bin for different material
Means particular bin is not fix for particular material
Please suggest me out of this how to map this in sap & also tell me is WM is suitable?
Point will be rewarded
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Yes, Warehouse management is suitable to your Scenario.
1)Maintain Storage location --> OX09
2)Create warehouse--> IMG > enterprise structure>definition> warehouse management> define warehouse
3) Assign warehouse to plant-->IMG > enterprise structure>Assignment>warehouse management> Assign warehouse to plant
Warehouse & Storage type:
4)Create Storage type> IMG> L/G>warehouse management>Master data-->Define storage type.
5) Create Storage bin--> LS01N Manually
LS10--> Automatically
for ur scenario storage bins are continously changing for material, so u can create storage bins automatically whenever these are needed.
Rewards welcome
Thanks & Regards
Swathi

hi
we will controll it in storage type controls if u maintain putaway strategy L (means next bin) system automatically take the next empty bin. if u dont want we can maintain for fixed bins for all material.
if u have any doubt reply me.
