Hi Saurabh,
Whenever you require to update data from a text file just remove the field names from the text file and then try to update.
Please try the same and let me know whether it solves your purpose or not.
I think you will be able to upload the data properly into your tables.

Hi,
there are two points to note herre:
if you have a file on the desktop or your system, then specify the file at : Legacy Data On the PC (Frontend)
if you have the file on the application server , then spefify : Legacy Data On the R/3 server (application server)
Anyway LSMW will pick only data from one file at a time..either on appl server or presentation serve (front end)...as you assign the file in the next step..
Hope this helps you

purpose of field structure:
It depends upon wheteher u want to include field name or not ,
if u will check the first check box then field is also included
and if u will check second check box then data is included
plz tick 1 check box , ur data will be loaded properly
if u are uploading the data with field names then checking 1 is necessary, othervise
data will not be uploaded properly , else u can take the data which contains only
data no field names
