Hi There,
This seems weird, but when Employee puts a request and Manager approver it. Remember Posting program has not run yet. And employee goes and Delete this request. There is no workflow starting for this, and even Manager do not get any notification.
I tried to workout option "No Deletion to leave request permitted" but somehow that is also not making any difference.
Any thoughts on this..
Thanks a lot.

This note 878916 is to make our work flow enable to handle the case of
withdrawn request which are not posted. After implementing this note
all you need to do is insert an email step in the withdrawal path and
this will trigger an email to the approver informing that leave request
has been deleted by the employee.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Sorry to your specific question You need a BADI, the customisation wont work which you describe as they are meant for when the leave request is posted
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
But when the approved leave request is deleted no WF is triggered
This step should be configured as when to trigger a
mail to the Admin or Supervisor, when deletion or cancellation happens.
The workflow template is a simple template, You can modify to suit their needs.
FYI a modification !
Please have a look at the Note 878916
