SAP APO CIF Process Chains Issue - Start Process failed for many chains

Hello Experts,

Hope you are doing good.

We are working in a support project and facing the below kind of issue. This issue we are facing in case of Master data transfer from ECC to APO process chains failed at starting point.

The start process only failed and unable to move further. The error description is “Process TRIGGER variant ended with invalid status”

This issue Start process failed happened for lot of process chains related to master data transfer.

We tried to repeat the process chain, still chain failed with same error.

We checked if any SAP notes found regarding this issue and found the SAP note “2109131 - TRIGGER process ends with invalid status”. And checking if this sap note is suitable to implement for this issue.

As we have faced lot many issues regarding process chains monitoring related, would like to request please check this error and reply in case if you have any kind of expeiriance on this kind of error or advice any further actions.

Hello All,

Thanks for your reply and advises on this issue.

We have resolved this issue by implementing the SAP note “2109131 - TRIGGER process ends with invalid status”.

Main Route cause of this issue is basis team installed patch, after that installation only facing this issue.

Issue is resolved, after implementing the above SAP Note.

Hi,

1. First delete the release job so that process will be go in deschedule mode. (right click on the first step and then click on "Displaying Schedule Job "

2. Schedule the chain again and check if its working

Please check if you have error messages in transactions SM21 or ST22 on date/time 22.02.2018 15:41:17

Maybe there are some important information can be found.
