EO_INBOUND_PARALLEL

From SAP Documentation:

*************************************************************************************************

The parameter EO_INBOUND_PARALLEL is evaluated in the Integration Server inbound channel and in the

Integration Engines of the sender and receiver.

*************************************************************************************************

Here what is the meaning of "Integration Engines of the sender and receiver". When the IE is called

sender and when it is called receiver ?? Since IE is part of IS, and if we can set EO_INBOUND_PARALLEL

for both sender and receiver, why can't we set to IS ??

thanks

This means you sending or receiving R3 system IEs. From R3 WAS>=6.20, IE is part of it.

When the IE is called

> sender and when it is called receiver ??

Depending on the side that they are involved in integration.

Since IE is part of IS, and if we can set EO_INBOUND_PARALLEL

> for both sender and receiver, why can't we set to IS ??
