Change By in CS02 Header Administrative data Not Visible

Hi Friends

If I make any Changes to a BOM using transaction CS02 , I assume this should be visible in the BOM header in Administrative data tab Field Changed on : Changed By

This is not happening . What may be the Reason ?

Thank You Much . Actually Though I was aware That changes in Header Data (eg Base Qty ) will be Reflected in Admin data ...Frankly I am not aware where to find the details of Item Admin data

Can you please be a bit more detailed as to Where I can find Changes to a BOM Item (Eg Component Qty reflected)

Hi Roy,

For item, you select one partcular item, double click it and then check the admistration data. You will see the date and the name of the person who changed it. You will not able to see the details like if the quantity was 1 earlier and it was changed to 2.

I assume ONLY certain fields in BOM are tracked for That Change data to reflected in Admin view of BOM header

Where is this SPRO setting . Can you plase help

Hi,

Are you change in header level or compoents level ?

Check changes in header level then you can see system updated the header admin data fields changed on and by (for ex BOM Base Qty 10 instead 1 of 1), changes in lower level (compoents materials) then admin data will updated Item admin data

Even with History Requirement variant "Blank" in OS27 , The change data should be reflected .

Can there be any Other reason

OS27 is already Blank & hence not the Reason for the problem . Also the change data is not updated in CS15

Hi,

In OS27 define history reqt as 1BOM status with history requirement ==> history requirement

Check with this and come back.

Hi,

Go to Transection OS27.

It may be due to value against History requriment variant is set as 1 or 2

Change it to Blank - BOM group with change number changed ==> history requirement

Or also try with Use CS15, Enter Material & Execute.
