23-02-2018-am-03-21-13.png23-02-2018-am-03-20-05.pngDear Friends, Please let me know: -

1. If last log on user id is " NOT IN USE " ( screen shot attached ) does it mean the user has never logged on to the SAP system / client ?

2. In USR02 table if the TRDAT ( screen shot attached ) is empty does it mean the user has never logged on to the SAP system / client ?

Could you please reference any SAP documentations or Snotes related to this topic.

Thanks

Raj

the field seems to get updated not only on DIALOG logon. is it documented on which actions cause the Last logon date USR02-TRDAT to get updated. I have an example where the last logon date is today but in the Stats in STAD/ST03 and Audit log SM20 you can only see RFC and Batch job traffic. If a trusted connection is used will the field USR02-TRDAT get updated?

Hello Rajashekar,

Answer to:
1. YES (NOT IN USE message is in the field LAST LOGON DATE which means the user never logged on)
2. YES (TRDAT is the Last Logon Date)

This is not always true. I've just seen many cases in wich TRDAT is blank, but the user has eventually logged on. I ended up here trying to figure out exactly how it works. A couple things I've observed:

- LTIME usually is not blank in such cases
- Some users have previously been eliminated, and latter created again
