Hi,

MWBQ (Program - RVBWSCQM): Correcting Purchase Order History in Accordance with Inspection Lot. Subsequent Adjustment: Enter Goods Receipt with Reference to Inspection Lot.

MWBE (Program - RVBWSCPO): Correcting Purch. Ord. Hist. in acc. with Purch. Ord. w/o Inspect. Lot. Subsequent Adjustment: Enter Goods Receipt with Reference to Purchase Order.

Dear Friends,

I would like know the business scenario usage of these Tcodes... not simple description of the Tcode.

I will explain my requirement first:-

We have a Alloy material. For this we are raising the PO to the vender with a fixed price. Let us say 65Rs / KG. And the quality norm is 65%. After receing the stock, QM will do the quality inspection. And if the Quality percentage is 70% then we need to pay the vendor 70 Rs/Kg. This is our scenario. In this scenario... are these Tcodes are any helpful???

Please note that price is not fixed for the material. It is based on Material & vendor combination. For one vendor price may 70 Rs/Kg... In that case proportion to this only we need to pay to the vendor.

Please let me how can I map this scenario??????

I tried the Batch specific unit of measure. But it is material specific. It is not based on the material & vendor.

I hope I clarified...

Surya.

Hi Surya,

MWBQ & MWBE are Tcodes used for active ingredient management .It will be usefull in your case as basically it is used for correction in PO history in accordance of inspection lot result recording value & MWBW w/o inspection lot on the basis of material specification .

For using this you have to set up batch management & material should need to be at standard price. In addition to this you have also need to define product / proportional ratio which will define one standard ratio for price & quantity calculation.

After result recording system will do the posting as normal posting but when you run the MWBQ/MWBE the system check the ratio & if there is any difference in defined & recorded values it will reverse the entry & will create the new entry according to the result recording with movt types 141& 142.

Hope it will help you in understanding the process.

Dear Tushar,

I understood and it is clear about the Tcode: MWBQ. Now I am able to create the scenario also.

I would like to know the use of MWBE. In which scenario this can be used? Is it also related to product/proportion unit. Please clarify me.

Regards.

Hi Surya,

As i have never used tx MWBE but i think it will work according to the batch clasification w/o inspection lot.

As at the time of GR you can enter classification characteristics result directly which will get passed to the batch. So if the case is like u dont want to have result recording from quality person & at GR only wants to add characteristic value which may be directly provided by vendor & u have full faith on it then u can use transaction MWBE after GR.

Yes here also it require product/proportional ratio.

As I have never tested this scenario so if u try it & it works please confirm to me.

Cheers,

Dear Tushar,

Thank you very much for your inputs. Actually I tried as per your suggestion by deactivating the quality inspection. And I entered the batch value duirng the batch creation itself. But this transaction code MWBE is not working. It is giving a message saying that there are no selectable items. This is for your information.

Hi,

You can correct the PO history through MWBQ based on the inspection lot which is created at the time of GR.

MWBE corrects the PO history without considering the inspection lot at the time of GR.

Thanks
