WM Batch determination in Sales Order includes open TOs Inventory - acts like IM

When we do batch determination in Sales Orders, the available inventory is including open TOs from previous sales orders. Once the TO is confirmed, the SO batch determination excludes that inventory. LS24 show the Available stock + pick qty, which total stock. But we don't want the pick quantity included - just the available stock.

It seems the batch determination is happening at IM level, not at WM level.

It fails to recognize the WM differentiation of available stock and pick qty (reserved qty in open TO).

This looks like a big confusion.

A batch determination in a sales order does not at all look into a warehouse management system. It just checks whether the batch meets the selection criteria and checks the availability at plant level. (IM level as you will)

Available stock in WM is available from a WM point of view only, means it is not in any open transfer order. It has nothing to do with the ATP check .
