Blocking certain delivery dates when creating PO's

Hi SAP Guru's,

Some materials we order are classified as dangerous (maintained in MM03) and due to the longer leadtime for processing can't be received on certain days. For non-dangerous goods we are able to receive PO's on monday till friday, while dangerous goods can only be received from monday till wednesday.

Is there some way that SAP automatically takes this into account, meaning the proposed delivery date in the PO always falls on monday till wednesday?

Dear Niel,

Please check SAP KBA 2280534 for more information. If this does not work as your requirement,

you can use BAdI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST method PROCESS_ITEM, ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST method PROCESS_ITEM

to check the delivery date for purchase requisition and purchase order respectively.

Also, you can check User-exit EXIT_SAPFV45E_002 or BAdI BADI_SD_SALES_ME_REQ if

Purchase requisition created from SD (“Individual purchase order” or third-party item).

Best Regards,

ian
