PO Not reopening when Invoice is Cancelled.

Good Day Gurus,

I have an issue that I am confused about. I have a client that has a PO that remained closed even though they canceled the AP invoice that was associated with it. I went into their test company and when I added an invoice to that PO and then cancelled it, the PO re-opened.

When the Customer cancelled the initial invoice they were on SAP 8.82. We performed an upgrade of them to 9.2 this weekend.

If I remember correctly, SAP 8.82 allowed for a document to be reopened when a cancellation was created.

I tested the scenario.

After creating a PO, I created an invoice added it and then cancelled the same.

PO got opened.

It works well in SAP B1 9.1 PL 05

Is "reopen doc by creating returns / goods returns / credit memos based on document" is selected
