Electronic invoice Italy

Hi All,

as far as I know, SAP standard solution for e-invoicing in Italy, is available only on SD side. But Italian law is extending the electronic invoices also to B2B transactions. It means that companies have to issue e-invoices, but they will also receive e-invoices from vendors. Does someone know if there is a solution for the xml incoming invoices?

Thank you very much

Anna Iacobelli

    Hello Anna,

SAP has started to work on B2B electronic invoice for Italy. You can find a "legal change announcement", still wothout a release date.

    https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/legalchangenotification/detail/GSCBEMEAM-3489

    A resume of the announcement:

    Introduction
Legal change published by the Italian government with law "Legge di Bilancio" (art. 1 c. 509-513) that has modified DL 127/2015.
New rules to issue electronic invoice are to be applied and will be due in January, 2019. Only for oil and gas industry, the due date is July, 2018.
The new rules are mandatory for B2G and B2B incoming and outgoing flows.

    ....

Sap is planning to deliver a solution to cover B2G abd B2B for both incoming and outgoing processes

    Hello
I'm interested to get more info regarding the solution mentioned.SAP Offer SAP EDocument as solution for B2B Ectronic Invoice, but I need to understand is my company need to purchase a specific license to use Edocuemnt or if it's a free component of SAP Netweaver included into SAP ERP package. Anyway I suppose SAP have to release a Free-of-charge solution beacuse this is a law requirement. Will be a good idea have further information by SAP and not just the announcement posted by Anna. If somebody has further information will be a good idea share them in this discussion.
    Kind regards
    Claudio
