Quota Deduction not hapenning

Hi All ,

I have been trying to create some absences for an employee , and there is a quota type declared for this leave type .

But even after granting an absence the deduction from the quota recod of PA2006 is not happening .

The deduction rule has been defined and been assigned to the counting rule as well .

I am unable to reach up to any conclusion , why this is not happening, If any one seen such a scenario please revert with some suggestions .

Also the groupings are rightly taken .

Thank you

Hi ,

Check your deduction rule was assigned to the absence type counting rule....and the table T556C, T_554S_Q, check your grouping was correct in V_001P_ALL table

Hi santosh,

As you have said I checked my table , the entries are there ,

Only for V_001P_ALL the leave type was missing , here when I went to help I found the PSG has to be put here and not the leave type code . So I did entered the PSG here , but still the deduction isn't hapenning . I have got no clue why .

Do you have anything on this .

Hi Nalla ,

I really haven't got the true reason , why it wasn't happening .

But what I think was

When I was crating the counting rule I dint had any deduction rule, so I made the entry and went off without putting the deduction rule .

Then created the deduction rule and put it in the counting rule .

Nothing was happening

so I deleted the counting rule , and created a new one with the same settings and put my deduction rule in place , and it worked .

So really dint know what was wrong .

But it made it happen .

Hi,

Check the screen number for the absence type in table V_554S_O.

You should have assigned '2001' in that field
