Comm. Channel control data set to Automatically by default after transport

Dear Experts,

We have some availability time planning configured in Production. Then I check that every time I transported a new Communication Channel, the channel's control data is set to Automatic by default and it is included in one of the ATP.

The question is:

- Is there any way to exclude every newly transported channel from being included in any of the existing ATP?

- If I stop the newly transported channel in RWB or PIMON, the control data is changed to Manual. This way, the channel won't be affected by ATP (won't be started or stopped automatically by the scheduled planning) even though it is included in the ATP. Is this correct?

Thank you.

Regards,

Suwandi C.

Hi,

I believe there is a scheduled/non scheduled ATP running for all channels so whenever you are moving any channel by default it is going to that ATP.

Check that scheduled ATP and manage it by keeping only necessary channelsl i.e enable switch to Filter with exceptions and exclude those channels which are not required.

If I stop the newly transported channel in RWB or PIMON, the control data is changed to Manual. This way, the channel won't be affected by ATP (won't be started or stopped automatically by the scheduled planning) even though it is included in the ATP. Is this correct?

Remove the channel from ATP so that some one unknowingly kept in automatic mode will not effect.

Pavan
