Steps to Install SAP NetWeaver as ABAP 7.51 on Windows 7

I have downloaded SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.51 SP02. with 10 part rar file

Requirements?What is the next step? When i extracted one single rar file created which containing these 10 files.What is the problem?

Seems you need to extract that one big rar file again to extract installation.

It seems that you have downloaded the "developer edition" of the NW ABAP 7.51.

Can you please clarify this statement?

When you right click at the "part1" file and chose to extract it, WinRAR should extract all the files.

Hi Isalas, I also downloaded all rar files, do I need to install all parts? as I keep getting NPL installation failed when installing part04 etc...

Hello Kay,

That is called a "multi-part" compressed file.

You must have all parts. Then, when you chose to extract part1, WinRAR (or the software you are using, like 7-Zip or any other one) should extract the files from all parts.

Therefore, it is not required to extract each part individually.

It is also important not to change the name of the "part" files.

If you receive an error when you are extracting, and it says the error is in part4, it is likely that your part4 is corrupted. Just download part4 again and overwrite the part4 you have now with the newly downloaded one.

Then, start extracting everything again (by extracting part1).

Hello all,

Is there another edition for Windows? I've downloaded it also and I see that there is just the SAP GUI for Windows in it, but the sever itself is for Linux.

I am not aware of all versions that are available, sorry.

But maybe the server is available on linux only...
