HI kavitha
i also agree to bhupesh it is not advisable/possible to have two system with same SID's u will definately face problem in transport configuration ....

it's not all a wise decision to have two system id's same.
also sap recommends that sid's must be different.
coz a lot of things depend on this.
even if u configure the tms still u will encounter lot of problems in future.
my simple answer is we cannot do the landscape config using with same sid's.

Hi,
go to tecode STMS in the new system client 000
you will get message "TMS not configured for system PRO" press continue button
it will open new screen, on that screen press "other configuration " Button, and fill description field
and the domain controller target host "in your case the IP of DEV"
and the system no of your DEV i think it is 00
then press save. you should get message "SAP System waiting to be included in transport domain"
Now: go to t-code STMS in client 000 in your DEV system
select from menu bar overview -->systems
it will take you to new screen, in that screen you can see you new pro system appears in the list
mark it and then press F7 then yes.
now you have added the PRO system to your TMS, you have to define the routing based on your needs.
Thanks

Kavitha,
Two Systems with the same SID, I think you cant congifure as three system landscape...Change the SID to some other and go with technical 3 System Landscape Configuration...

I wonder why do you have two systems with the same SID?.... if its a copy of one of them you should have change the sid during the HSC...
Anyhow... never tried this before (as usually systems have different SID's for ID... but i presume if you can't join the system via the regular ways... maybe it can be added as a remote system (which is not ideal)
I think you should change the SID of the system if you want this as a permanent 3 tier layer environment.

Juan
