Hello Experts,

I am looking to know the best practice to hold Job Evaluation Results in IT1050. Do you do it by Job Level or by Position Level.

Could anyone with experience in this respond and perhaps also let me know why.

Thanks

Hi Reena,

Thanks for your response.

I was not able to correctly get the data i asked for (the Internal values picked from the system). The path you specified gives the data related to that particular position which is not matching the value diaplyed in portal.

One more issue i am facing is that while we do the Composite Result by Job in Portal, after Build composite comparison is done.

When in the comparison parameters, Employee is selected in the 'compare with' field, the internal value remains zero.

I am stuck with this. Please guide...

Thanks and regards,

Vijetha

Evaluation points are held at Jobs and aren't distinguished at the position level since the expectation is that the positions are similar. Only in case of exceptions, that you might need anything on the positions.

Manish,

thnx for your input. could you tell me what those exceptions could be that will necessitate to use position to store the evaluation points.

You could have plant manager job but a plant manager that is in charge of your most important product manufacturing might have different evaluation points.

Manish,

SAP allows you to make entries in IT1050 for both object type 'C' and object type 'S'. I have made entries in both. Now, running an audit program, my expectation is to have the entries in job level to dispaly, rather the entries in position level displays.

My question is why is this happening. Is there any priority consideration that the entries in position level will always display.

I understand the way to go is to have your entries for IT1050 on the job level.

thanks

Since it's a custom program, I don't know what logic is uses but I would suggest to use standard function modules to get this information since it would take care of the position based overrides for 1050.

Hi Experts,

In the ECM Job Pricing, when the Compare Internal vs. Market data is done a table containing the Internal value , market value

etc is displayed. Could you tell me how the value for Internal value field gets populated i.e form where does it pick those value from?

Please guide...

Thanks & Regards,

Vijetha
