Authorization Group in CV01n Document Data tab

Hi SAP Gurus,

I went on to Configure the Authorization groups at spro / Document Management / Approval Tab,

but the same is not appearing in CV01N create document, Basic data tab. Screen......

can any one explain how to configure this Authorization Group and make use of this Authorization Group

i tried in PFCG, at object C_DRAW_BGR, also but the authorization groups i have created is not displayed at all.

what is the Configuration missing and to work with Authorization groups.

please Advice

this Key of an authorization group that may execute a specific individual signature when a signature strategy is carried out.

and You use authorization groups to restrict the authorization to execute individual signatures.

if u want to use only authorization groups for document type than follow the step which was posted by Punam Modi

Dear,

Authorization Group which you are asking for cosists of 4 chars. then for that you have to use new authorization object named C_DRAW_BGR in that you can put your authorization group. This auth. object should be below C_DRAD_OBJ.

To see this authorization group physically on document data tab, you have to make changes in customization part of every document type (SPRO).

Authorization group check box is there under classification box, put '+' if authorization group is mandatory or else '-' if not.

Thanks for ur reply. i have created the authorization groups in SPRO at the approval Tab,

and also can see the Field Authorization Group in CV01N basic data Field but

By pressing F4 or searching i could not find my Auth groups created there,

Nor i could find them at PFCG, at C_DRAW_BGR objects, at BEGRU

where has my created Auth group gone,

please explain how to work with Auth groups. where and all it has to be assigned and linked.

How to use Authorization Groups for Digital signatures and restrict users For accessing Documents And Original files specifically.

Hi

What you can do is for DOMAIN BEGRU, have a transperenet table assigned.

You can create a Transperent table and using BADI you can make the values in Transperent table to populate in F4 of auth group..

Else you can preset some value in BEGRU itself, for this goto BEGRU and change it, maintain fixed values..

Also for this you need SAP Key as BEGRU is std object.

The area you are configuring is the area for digital signatures.

There is no configuration available for the AUTH group field found in the basic data screen of CV01N, you simply have to insert the auth group in PFCG to ensure users have access to a particular authorisation group.

I am not sure why SAP chose not to offer a drop down on this field with a user selectable list of options but they didn't you would have to create a drop down on the field with an enhancement or a button in the DIR linked to a drop down which is managed in a ztable.
