Material Master: Purchase Order Text

Hi,

I wanted to maintain the Purchase Order text in the material is three different languages. I can maintain the text in "English" language. I am not able to maintain texts in other languages. When I goto Edit>>>Long Text>>>Create Long Text. This create long text option is disabled. Can anyone help on this.

Dear Hariharan,

This adding langauge tab also availble in material master --> basic data1 tab.

Scroll down this tab and click Basic data Text tab then bottom click

create icon maintain which langauge you want and also can copny from also availble

While creating material master MM01 select purchase order text and enter text, click on create buttom to maintain different type of languages for purchase order text.

We are in ECC6.0. I dont see a create button.

I went to MM02. On the PO text view, the material number appears on top, languages on the left and PO text on the right (in a small window). The create button is below the languages.

Do not go to the text editor (in full screen)

Hi Hari,

Go to Material Master Change Mode ie MM02 and in Basic Data 1 Tab Click on Additional Data tab which is top left. And again select Basic Data text in that You can See Language Create button / Delete button & Editor button.

Click on Create button and not Editor button.

In the purchase order text view in material master, the screen is divided into 2 sections. On the left, the languages are listed and the text is on the right. There is a "Create" button on the left side where you can create long text in different languages.

Please note that this is in ECC 6.0
