Systems mixed up after Landscape fetch

Former Member

Hi Experts,

we are facing a strange behaviour of our Solution Manager.

After a system CBI was deleted (wrong system data - manually entered) - we want to update our System Landscaoe automatically via SMSY_SETUP.

Afterwards the System CBI was in a lot of components listed - but mixed up with another System (CAD) in our Landscape in Main Product (SAP Netweaver).

- the servers and the databases are defined correct for CBI and CAD

- the other system CAD is listed correct as well

Does anybody have the same problem?

What could be the cause of this behaviour?

kind regards and thanks in advance

Tom

Hi,

Do you have SLD in place. If that is the case, the mix-up might be due to, presence of your CBI in SLD.

If you don't want CBI, remove them from SLD and SMSY as well. Next time when SLD job runs, this mix-up will disappear.

Hope this solves your problem.

Feel free to revert back.

Hi Ragu,

thanks for urgent reply.

We want to delete the system CBI, but we want to set it up again.

We have a SLD and the SolMan.

Both Systems are defined correct in our SLD.

The System CAD is correct in SMSY.

The System CBI is mixed up with CAD Components only in SMSY?

So we have to delete the System CBI in SMSY and in SLD.

Afterwards we have to set up our system again in SMSY and SLD

kind regards

Tom

Hi,

I have already answered your question, Delete your CBI system in SLD and SMSY, run the SLD Job.

Then add your system again.

This will solve your problem.

Feel free to revert back.

Hi Ragu,

as we have deleted the system CBI we cannot connect to SLD out of SolMan, cause we have deleted Sytsem CBI (error message)

But System CBI is/was not our SLD Host???

What happened?

kind regards

Tom
