trying to enhance HRASR00_EMPLOYEE_SEARCH

Hi,

I am trying to enhance HRASR00_EMPLOYEE_SEARCH application by changing the infoset query associated with the application.

i was sucessful in associating a new infoset query to this but i want to change the labels of some of the search fields.i changed the labels in the sq02 transaction but they are not getting reflected in the frontend. i can change the labels of the output fields but not the input fields.

will there be a spearate procedure for changing the labels of the input fields

I believe you have posted your question in the wrong forum. This forum is for Web Dynpro ABAP only.

I just want to understand whether it can be possible or not to change the labels of the input fields in the Search screen programatically in HRASR00_EMPLOYEE_SEARCH.

HRASR00_EMPLOYEE_SEARCH is this a web dynpro component if yes, use enhancement and make the existing lables invisible and add new label
