Hi All,

In Outlook/Lotus Notes, appointments can be created for multiple people.

Could you please let me know how to do this in SAP CRM?

Regards,

Piyush

Hi Piyush,

Its not clear what do you mean by creating appointments for multiple people. Are you talking about creating a appointment with multiple contacts involved or creating a task for a group...

Cheers,

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your response with two possibilities.

I am referring to the scenario:

"Creating a appointment with multiple contacts involved"

Note: Multiple contacts can be contact point for different account

Please let me know how should I acheive this in SAP CRM?

Regards,

Hi Piyush,

Log on to CRM WEB UI -> click on Activities -> click on Appointment under "Create" -> a pop up will be display with types of appointments -> double-click/select type (example: Sales Visit) -> go to assignment block "Parties Involved" (on Sales Visit Appointment screen) -> expand "Parties Involved" assignment block -> click on Insert -> Select Partner Function = Contact Person -> enter ID = Contact Person BP Number -> click on enter to view the BP added -> repeat the same process to more bps (can be anyone BP) -> Save

If "Parties Involved" assignment block not displayed on the screen -> click on page configuration tool (not configuration tool - configuration tool is small wheel where as page configuration tool is wheel on page) -> will display configuration page -> check available assignment blocks table (left hand side) -> select BTPARTNER (Parties Involved) assignment block -> click yellow (right arrow) button to move this block to displayed assignment blocks -> Optional: if you want "Parties Involved" to be in collapsed status -> select Lazy under Load Option (if you select Direct - it will be in expand status all the time) -> save -> check the new "Parties Involved" assignment block on screen.

Note: You can do more personalized settings for "Parties Involved" assignment block by clicking on Personalize Button" (next to export excel button).

I am sure that this will solve your issue, please reward the points if helpful...

Cheers,

Peter J.

Hi Peter,

At appointments, we select the contact person and Account.

Parties involved will have this information.

As you suggested, add new party as the contact person and schedule the appointment.

However, how it will be identified that Contact person for which ???Account???.

How this can be sorted out?

Regards,

Piyush

For ex. Appointment has been created for Contact C1 of Account A1.

In Parties involved, Contact C2 has been added.

However, how it can be identified that Contact C2 has represented account A2 or Account A7.

I hope, this explains the scenario.
