MRP Run modification - independent requirement production date

Hello Gurus,

we are facing with following issue in our environment. We have Z transaction for sales order, where Production Department confirms production date. This date is then visible in Sales Order. The point is - MRP run schedules purchase requisitions by delivery date, not production date which is mentioned in sales order.

My question is - is it possible to customize MRP Run to not schedule purchase requisition by delivery date but production date which is set in sales order?

Hello

You can use BAdI MD_CHANGE_MRP_DATA to change the sales order requirement date for MRP. If you activated the performance optimizations for MRP on HANA, then the best BAdI to use is MD_ADD_ELEMENTS.
