Select check box automatic search and Distribution by age in fb05 while clearing line items

Hi All,

When the MT940 EBS file is processed then fb05 is called in the background for clearing the invoices.Our client needs the fields automatic search and Distribution by age fields to be checked.However if the automatic search is checked and if system proposes the line items to be cleared then what will happen to the batch input session or the background clearing ,will it stop there and how about the subsequent lines in MT940 to be cleared.

And also we have search strings and Interpretation Algorithms are already defined,so which one would take priority automatic search and Distribution by age or the search strings and Interpretation Algorithms.

Ans:

1. No it will not stop there, it will clear line items, if you select indicator distribution by age and if If the amount cannot be distributed completely, then a posting will happen on account for remaining balance .

2. Search strings and Interpretation Algorithms will have priority.

Thanks but for automatic search option,if there are more than two invoices prompted by system in that case for the batch input session or the background clearing ,will system clear any of the one invoice .
