Getting actual period via FM?

Hi there,

how can I get the actual period (FI/CO) via FM?

    Hi,

    you may use DETERMINE_PERIOD with date = sy-datum.

    FIRST_DAY_IN_PERIOD_GET- i am not sure whether you are looking for this.

    this gives first day in the period.

    No I don't have any period, I only want to know what tha ACTUAL period of sy-datum is...

    I don't wanna to know any day or sth like that, only the period itself.
