Crystal Reports XI and citrix

We have just brought Crystal Reports XI and while this installs fine on any server 2003 i am having trouble installing this on citrix server as this is wher it is intended to go. The problems i am having is that when i go to install on a citrix server i am unable to change the installation path apart from this it seems to install fine until to try to run the program then it thinks about launching and nothing happens, have tried to phone and log a support call but this is no longer avalible HELP

Turn of DEP (data encryption protection) if you are using Windows 2003 server, exclude crystal x1 from DEP

Hi Neil,

To access our support site please have your super user set up an account for you. You can go to our site and get the details.

As for your problem, in a citrix world, this is all about the permissions path for each user's profile. I suspect that your profile is not letting you see the common files\bin folder or one of the others.

Your citirx admin will need to make sure that you have permission to the entire install path directory, which you can confirm on your other installs.

I am hoping you can lead me in the correct direction. We purchased a Crystal Reports License and we are working to get this installed at a remote hosting site. The client is linked to the remote hosting site via a Citrix link. Citrix is running Citrix Presenation Server 4.5. The cllient

The remote hosting group is asking questions as to how best to install Crystal within the Citrix environment.

Crystal Reports Developer XI Windows Named English License

Crystal Reports Server XI R2 Windows 5 CAL Licenses

How best to proceed ?
