What is the minimun SP stack needed to upgrade my 4.6.C to ERP 6 ?

Hello,

We are planning to upgrade our 46C to ERP 6 SR3.

But I can't find nothing about the support package equivalence !

For the time being my SP level are :

SAP_BASIS 46C 0056 SAPKB46C56

SAP_ABA 46C 0056 SAPKA46C56

SAP_APPL 46C 0054 SAPKH46C54

SAP_HR 46C 0137 SAPKE46CD7

PI 2004_1_46C 0009 SAPKIPZI49

SAP_NOTES 46C 0012 SAPK-46C12IN..

ST-A/PI 01H_R3_46C 0000 -

ST-PI 2005_1_46C 0008 SAPKITLQD8

So If we upgrade to ERP 6 SR3 do we have to install new SP on our 46C to be in synch with the new release ?

Is there any notes about this ?

Kind regards,

DR.

PREPARE will tell you which support packages you will need at least. It's always suggested to upgrade with the latest support packages for the target system to make sure. If you BIND the latest ones you will be on the safe side.

If the source systems package level is not high enough, PREPARE will tell you so. The needed level depends on the SR-release you use AND on the level of the fixpack you import.

Hi Markus,

As you said, PREPARE tells required Target Release Support packages to be included in the Upgrade.

Is this information available in any SAP Note?

i.e, Do we have any SAP Note which tells what minimum target Release support Package is required for particular source release support package?

Thanks,

Nirav.

As I was trying to explain here again:

The necessary support package for the target system is evaluated based on the SR-release you use AND the fixpack you install. Because as of now it´s not known which fixpack will be available at time when you start the upgrade no such note exists - and can´t.
