In what situation mov. type 313 will use, what the purpose ?? in t-code MB1B.

Hi

In case of two step transfer between two storage locations we use 313 movemnt i.e Remove from Storage , which is a first step. & in the second step the material is Placed in Storage referncing the 313 material document using 315 Movement.

When the Storage locations are based at two different places , these movemnt are used.

The Tcode MB1B is mainly used to enter the stock transfer which can take place between

One storage location to another storage location with in the same plant

One plant to another plant

One Company code to other Company code

The movement type 313 is mainly used when you are trying to do a two stage stock

The movement type 313 removes the stock from the first storage location and in conjunction with this movement type yuo use Movemnt type 315 which in turn places the material in the receiving storage location

When you use the movement type 313 the follwing changes occur

1) Issuing storage location(Originating) unrestricted stock level is reduced

2) Receiving storage location stock in transit level is increased

3) Plant unrestricted stock level is reduced

4) Plant unrestricted stock in transit stock level is increased

Hi,

A follow on question to above.

We have a requirement to do a "313" in a WM managed warehouse. We only want the stock visible in the receiving location once the TO has been created against the 313.

Any ideas on this...

313 is for two step procedure in storage location to storage location transfer ,

313 for remove

315 is for place

It is used for transfer postings

from storage location to storage loc.

whether MB1B

or MIGO A08 Transfer Posting R10 Other

you can do it with just one-step movement 311

or

313 to send to storage location and

with 315 it should be acceppted from where it is send
