CJ32 is taking long time for the first time only.

Dear Guys,

We have approval interfaces which are using CJ32 transaction in SAP. We came to know that approvers have to wait in their screen for a long time only for the first time execution(Approx 1min) because the workflow will be the execution of CJ32 in SAP. Once CJ32 process completes,approvers approval process is getting over in their screen.

Middleware is Webmethods.

We started analysing the slowness issue and came to know that there is no issue in interfaces.So we run the trasaction in debug mode in SAP with performance
trace ON. We could see the following results where the process is taking a long time(1Min) for the first run only. Other consecutive runs are normal.

From the above screenshots RS_TESTFRAME_CALL is taking a long time to execute for the first time. In the next run, you can see the response time is less.

Can anyone guide me with the solution for this issue?

Please consult your SAP account manager for the same. I think the KBA is a Pilot release only.

Thank you. I will contact them. However I have a small doubt in SAP Note 1682018 in which they had mentioned below,

My doubt is in the statement 'for the first time'. Is it for the fist time of the day?

Please check if implementing the corrections in OSS Note # 1001497 / 1682018 resolves your performance related issues. You must also schedule CJBN in background mode, once you implement the corrections.

Thank you so much for your reply. I have forwarded the SAP Note 1682018 to our FI team to have a check on it.

However I am unable to open the KBA 1001497 and getting an error that I am not entitled to view this. Could you please help me with that?
