Hai Puneet,

There is only one way you can give discount for the total quantity of items in a sales order. you have to select items which belong to one Material Group and maintain a Group discount condition type for that matl grp, and maintain scales for it.

If the entered matl., in the sales order belong to that matl group, if they cross the minimum qty for which discount is maintained, then you will get a discount a header level only (which is distributed to all line items proportionately).

Work with your co-consultants, I am sure you will get it.

Remember:

  • If the matls belong to different groups, no automatic discount is proposed.

  • If the total qty crosses a set mark, if you want to give different discounts to different matls., its not

possible.

Hope this is of use to you and if so, do reward points. Once you get a satisfactory answer, plz remember to close the thread.

Regards.

Hi Puneet,

You better to define two condition types as manual condition types

1.Based on value

2.Quantity based

Enter maually in the sales order when ever required

I hope it will help you,

hi,

I tried for it .. but now the problem is that the value for which scales are maintained are checked at item level but i want it to be checked at the header level.. For example

i hav maintained it to be 5 % from 50000... now there are two items in the invoice whose cummulative value is more then 50000 but individual is not .. so it is not picking the right records... ne solution for it?
