I'm running PD 16.6.1.1 (build 50666), and I don't have the Word Import option any more - has it been removed deliberately, or just mislaid?

I have a theory that I need to test when I have time, that PD doesn't see MS Office 365 when I install or update PD, so doesn't offer me the MS Word import add-in.

Launch MS Word

Click File menu

Click Options

Click Add-Ins under Word Options

In the Manage drop down, select COM Add-ins and click Go

Thanks for the Information, but the PD add-in isn't listed.

The folder C:\Program Files\SAP\PowerDesigner 16\Add-ins doesn't contain anything for the Word import.

When I run the 'Modify' dialogue for PD in Control Panel, the only Add-in listed is the Spelling Checker

I'm running Office 365 - is that the issue?

By the way, the MS Visio add-in is offered during the PD update (via Programs and Features) - I have Visio 2010

I raised a support case, here's the response:

The WordtoRQM import currently does not work with Word 2016.

CR 795338.
