Release Strategy for Release Order again Approved Contract

Release strategy for Release Order is required or not against approved contrat??

As fas as I know once the contract is approved, release order is not required to approve again.

This is the standard setting from SAP or We need to do some setting for this??

SAP does not deliver a release strategy, all is your own customizing.

And whenever document values matches with the setup of your own release strategy then the strategy triggers and the document has to be approved.

if you don't want this to happen, then you have to have characteristics in your strategy which allow you to separate call offs from other orders, this could for example be the document type, e.g. AB for the call offs and NB for normal purchase order without contract reference.

Or you use the customer field CEKKO-USRC1 in your strategy and check in a user exit whether the contract was already approved and transfer either a Y or N to this field. And based on that (together with the other characteristics) the document either matches with the strategy or not and so either the strategy is triggered or not.
