Support Packs queue

Hi Experts,

Any one please let me know the queue process to apply the support packages.

Right now iam applyiny the SAP_ABA 8.Please let me know the process

Thank you for yor information-Still iam getting little bit confusion.

Now i have applied support packs Basis and ABAP up SP10. Now i have to apply the

PI_BASIS 5 (current Position)

SAP_BW 5 (current Position)

SAP_AP 2 (current Position)

SAP_APPL 2 (current Position)

SAP_HR 2 (current Position)

All above are the current possition for the each support pack.i need to apply all the support packs up to level 7. Please let me know the sequeence which one can i apply first/Prerequisities.

Hi,

Did you check SAP Note 822379: Known problems with Support Packages in SAP NW 2004s AS ABAP

check the note you found the sequence.

you can go for

1) first apply PI_BASIS SP

2) SAP_BW

3) SAP_APPL

4)SAP_AP

5) SAP_HR

you need to fulfill the prerequisities of support package.

Hi kaushal,

While i am applying the support pack SAPKB70009 in our ides (other) system, It was terminated with the return code 8 at DDIC_ACTIVATION stage

Error message in log;-

Following objects not activated/deleted or activated/deleted w. warning:

Hi,

Table YCRM01_S_BUPM could not be activated
Table YTEL01_S_BUPM could not be activated
Table ZICMAG_S_BUPM could not be activated

check the syntax of above table using SE11 in affected SAP system. ( system where you import support package)

if the current sap server is your QAS or PRD server than find the missing data element in table and transport it from DEV server.

after resolving the error activate the table and continue the import in SPAM

Hi kaushal,

With the help of ABAPER we have activated these three programs, after that i started the import in SPAM t-code but the system is generating ABAP dumps.

even iam not able to enter any t-code in command field. Please let me know you suggestions.

Hi Kaushal,

The issue is resolved, one process is running in backend after completed that task again i repeated the import.

Now i am facing new issue while applying the support pack SAPKH60003 iam getting the below message at

Phase ADDON_CONFLICTS_?: Explanation of Errors

Conflicts were found between the Support Packages that you want to

import and the Add-Ons installed in the system. To guarantee the

consistency of your system, the import is interrupted until all Conflict

Resolution Transports (CRTs) for the listed Support Packages are

included in the queue.

To include the CRTs in the queue, proceed as follows:

- Write down the Support Packages and Add-Ons that have conflicts.

- Leave this screen by choosing 'Cancel' (F12).

- Load the CRTs for the Support Packages with conflicts from the SAP

Service Marketplace or request them from your Add-On supplier.

- Define the extended queue again in the Support Package Manager.

- Import the queue. The Support Package Manager executes all steps from

the beginning.

If the problem involves an SAP Add-On, see SAP Note 53902, which tells

you which CRTs resolve the conflicts. Otherwise contact the supplier of

your Add-On for details on how to proceed.

The following contains a table of Support Packages for each Add-On for

which conflicts were detected. The column 'Information on the Conflict

Resolution' specifies how you can resolve a conflict. For more

information, select the corresponding 'Information for the Conflict

Resolution'.

Hi,

First delete the queue.

download FI-CA 600 SP3 and FI-CAX 600 SP3 from service.sap.com/swdc

(Support Packages and Patches-> SAP Application Components-> SAP ERP-> SAP ERP 6.0->Entry by Component->SAP ECC Server)

load this support package on application server.

again define SAPKH60003 in queue.

start SPAM import

Hi kaushal,

I have downloaded the support packs FI-CA 600 SP3 and FI-CAX 600 SP3.

Can i apply this by using like SPAM>Support Package>LoadPackages--> from front end

import etc

Please confirm which one can i import first FI-CA 600 SP3 or FI-CAX 600 SP3?

HI,

yes you can upload the support package from SPAM>Support Package>LoadPackages--> from front end .

login into 000 client -> execute SPAM -> select New Support package -> Display -> select SAPKH60003

-> click on queue

so FI-CA 600 SP3 and FI-CAX 600 SP3 are defined together with SAPKH60003 in queue.

you problem is solved, please close this thread, if you facing any other problem then open new thread with proper subject.

Hi Kaushal,

Thank you for your valuable information. This information helped me lot.

This is a last query in this thread just for my clarification which i have followed exactly to import the support pack SAPKH60003 , please confirm the same.

Down loaded the support packs FI-CA 600 SP3 and FI-CAX 600 SP3 and saved on desktop.

Log on 000--> Enter SPAM T-code >Support Package>LoadPackages--> from front end and selected the support packs SAPK-60003INFICA and SAPK-60003INFICAX and added in to queue one by one and selected the pack SAPKH60003 and imported the same.

Please let me know can i follow the same process to apply SAPKH60004, SAPKH60005, SAPKH60006and SAPKH60007

Hi,

yes, if any conflict occurs due to missing CRT then donload the missing CRT and upload it on application server.

SAPKH60XX required FI-CA 600 SPXX and FI-CAX 600 SPXX

What package you are trying to apply ?

Which version of SAP, OS & DB ?

Have u met all the prerequisites before applying SP's

Can u manage to get the SAP Screen after starting the services.

Pls try to provide the log. (from usr/sap/trans/log Alog & Slog

Pls also check there there is enough spaces in Table spaces using Brtools if u cant mange to get SAP screen &

i think try to add some space to Table spaces

Also try to update your DB statistics.

Hi Kaushal is right & wants to add little information

Execute SPAM

As we extract the patches into EPS/in & say load from application server

Select All support packages & select display

Expand the package list to which component u have loaded & the one which is loaded will be in yellow color & expand that one.

It will show the clear pre-requisites if that package needs to go in what needs to go first.

Try to Activate the Deactivated objects with the help of your ABAP er
