EWM Sort Sequence for Activity Area

Hi experts,

My putaway strategy doesn´t look for "Sort Sequence" defined for PTWY Activity Area.

How can I check and resolve this problem in search rules?

    Hi,

the activity PTWY is not considered during the bin search. This can only be used for sorting existing warehouse tasks during the WOCR or in the WO.

For influencing the sort rule during the bin search, you need a sort sequence for the activity CSLP (cross-line stock putaway). This activity is never in a warehouse process.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

    Hi

As Juergen mentioned, Activity PTWY is not considered during put away. System follows Table /SCWM/LAGP for bin determination.
