Hana Database backup memory fluctuating

Dear All,

We are facing a issue that our Hana Complete database backup memory of CRM is increasing and decreasing day by day.

ex:-Wednesday we have around 463 GB,but Thursday it reduced to 449 GB

again next day it gradually increased at high growth to 475 GB.

Please help us to understand this issue we are not able sort it out..

Looks like the amount of data to be saved in the backup changes.

You may have heard of delta-store in HANA and how changed data is put there first and only compacted later on? Maybe that's what's happening here.

Yes seems to be like that,

But we have resolved the issue of increasing memory daily:

By deleting enteries in BDOC tables with the job name:-SMO6_REORG2.

So now it has reduced our database size at point.

Meanwhile every alternate days our DB is increasing and decreasing.
