    You could browse this link:

    https://websmp210.sap-ag.de/smb/sbo/platforms

or download the pdf file :

"SAP Business One System Requirements March 2008" from documentation resource center under this link:

    https://websmp210.sap-ag.de/%7Esapidb/011000358700000187342007E

there is no more sizing guide for SAP B1 2007A.

let me know your e-mail address. I could send the file free

Thanks for your input. Many apologies - Maybe I should rephrase the question.

I was aware of that general document but what I was specifically looking for was the minimum hardware spec for running 2007A + SQL 2005 servertools server and client ALL on the same Windows XP SP2 box. And in particular the minumum recommended memory requirement.

I'm not so sure that this information can be deduced from that document - or maybe it can. Can anyone advise?

A lot depends on the size of the databases you intend loading on your machine. I am running SAP Business One 2007A with SQL 2005 and SQL uses anything from 250MB upto a peak of 1.4GB. This occurs when running an upgrade for example on a database of 8GB and up. My suggestion would be to start with a minimum of 1GB RAM and if you can preferably 2GB. SAP Business One 2007A uses around 100MB up to sometimes 120MB of RAM and each add-on of course uses RAM from about 5MB each up to sometimes 50MB depending on functionality.

    Hope this helps.

      Thanks Peter,

The intended PC currently has just 512mb of RAM and I'm sure this will not be sufficient.

I have 2Gb on my own standalone installation and to be safe will be suggesting a similar memory upgrade before installation of SQL Server and SBO 2007A
