Hi all

I am getting the following error when Im trying to display a Webi report through the SAP Portal. We have installed the SAP Integration Kit and are able to see the content of the Infoview. However when we click on a Webi report, we receive the following error:

Could not get page number. (Error: RWI 00223) (Error: INF)

Have anyone else encountered this problem? Please assist! Any help will be rewarded.

(We are running XI Rel 2).

Addition from trace file (tomcat):

Furthermore I'd like to see an example of the cms_name entry. The documentation states: In addition, specify the Application Parameter for each iView. For this property, enter cms_name=[cms] for the fully qualified server name., but I have doubts as to what format to use.

Kind regards,

Martin Søgaard

hi Søgaard ,

Issue is not caused by Folder Iview. Can you view this webi report when you log on to infoview, not from iview? I think you will meet the same error. After google search, I find this http://www.forumtopics.com/busobj/viewtopic.php?t=90448, which may solve you problem

Hi Jim Ji

The report can be displayed from the java infoview, no doubt, so the report itself works.

But the report cannot be seen from the "SAP Infoview" (

:

/businessobjects/enterprise115/sap) which is the infoview, I reference from the Folder iView (through the system in the SAP portal). And since the SAP Portal Integration Kit seems very old - the Folder iView was created 12-08-2004 by Ingo Hilgefort - there might be an old version of the jar-files somewhere in the installation.

I guess I should check the version of the jar-files in WEB-INF/lib of our web application (Tomcat) folder, and see if they have been overwritten by the SAP Portal Integration Installation or are an older version of the files in Program FilesBusiness Objectscommon3.5javalib? And also check if somewhere in the .../sap installation there are some old jar-files?

Kind regards,

Martin Søgaard

Hi Jim Ji

Thanks for the answer, it worked!

I replaced all the jar files in ...Program FilesBusiness ObjectsTomcatwebapps usinessobjectsenterprise115sapdesktoplaunchWEB-INFlib with the jars in ...Program FilesBusiness Objectscommon3.5javalib, and the end users were able to open the reports.

I guess this is a procedure that has to be done every time you upgrade BO?

Hi Jim Ji

We did a reinstall of service pack 3, and the problem was still there.

Kind regards,

Thanks for the answer, it worked!

I replaced all the jar files in ...\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat\webapps\businessobjects\enterprise115\sap\desktoplaunch\WEB-INF\lib with the jars in ...\Program Files\Business Objects\common\3.5\java\lib, and the end users were able to open the reports.

HOWEVER....

This solution has created new issue for us. Now when we try to create new Webi report it gives error like,

"The Web Intelligence Java Report Panel cannot connect to the server. Close the report and try to connect again or see you BusinessObjects administrator. (Error: WIJ 20002)"

working on BO XI R2; SP-3.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Martin,

Please refer to my reply from the following thread on details on how you can access Webi reports using URL Iviews:

Another option for you is to use the Knowledge Management and Collaboration solution to access your Webi documents. Please refer to the BusinessObjects XI Integration for SAP Installation Guide for details around the KMC solution.

Hi Mike

Thanks a lot for your post.

Can you please explain to me why the Folder Iview works in order to see Webi documents, and not only Crystal Reports? According to your other post, that should not be the case, should it?

Kind regards,

Martin Søgaard
