need some help

Hi all,

I created an application , in that I have a check list of filtered business partners , In that checklist , I checked some business partners. Next I created an XML through application. I want to pass complete information of all checked oBusinesspartners from checklist to the XML file I created.

I used getbykey method to get complete info of oBusinesspartners. The xml file is overlapping ofter retrieving 1st record with 2nd BP record. So every time I can view only one BP record in XML file. But I need all BP info,

Thanks in advance

shashi kiran.

I dont know which format you need, but I think that for you is the quickest way make direct select in SQL management studio from proper tables and use clause for xml raw at the end.

Then with xsl transformation you should have your format of xml.

    The base query is

select cardcode, cardname from ocrd for xml raw

you should append crd1 and so on.

    hope it helps

      Hi Shashi

I would rather use a recordset to pull the list based on the checked BP's. You can pass an array of the BP codes using WHERE CardCode IN ('BPcode1','BPCode2'), etc. The trick is formatting the array and adding the seperators (single quotes). So the best is a loop that adds the checked BP's to the array with the single quotes.

From there it should be easier to add all the records to the XML at once.

      Kind regards
