Approval of appropriation request in IM

Hi,

In investment management (IM) when I am creating appropriation request with refernce to origianal appropriation request, option for approving the new request is disable eventhough one can reject the same.

Is there any setting which I missed out ?

Pls. let me know the same.

Check if you've activated the workflow task. You can no longer approve appropriation requests by changing the status in their master record if workflow is activated. Instead you have to use the workflow to go through the approval levels of the appropriation request type.

If you are referring to alternative Appr. Requests, it's the standard behaviour.
