Plant validation in CJ20N for activity

Hello -

I have a requirement to validate activity in a project , in transaction CJ20N. The validation is to check when user changes plant in activity, if any components exist in activity, give an error message to have plant in activity and components as same. If the plant is not same, give error message. I tired every possible user exit and BADI. I appreciate any help to identify the correct BADI , Enhancement or user exit.

Did you try writing a piece of code in standard SAP PS validation to control the Component Plant and Activity Plant.

You said you tried every user exit and BADI, is you custom program not working? What errors are you getting? You need to be more specific in order for members to help you.

As terry.boy wrote, did you find transaction OPSI (or validation in PS node in SPRO tree) and did you find how to create user-exit in validation in online help?
