Performance management setup and configuration

One of my project requires Performance management usage.

We have installed the PM and configured it.

We have created an analytic with slicing. It worked well with the development environment.

But in the production environment, the slicing is not working. Everytime the same aggregated value is being showed by the speedometer.

I did not find any problem with the analytic creation procedure.

May be something is wrong with the setup and configuration. The drop down list is not being interactive with the speedometer.

Can Anyone help me on this.

If you check in the setup tab, the repository should be in a healthy state. The EPM repository is the more crucial part of the config.

Then...

Sometimes dimension creation when migrating between DEV and PROD is not successfull.

To check if dimensions are created in PROD you could do a test by creating a dimesion and checking if it has in deed created the dimesion correctly. You can check the CI tables in the repoistory for this.

Then when migrating from DEV using the PMDT tool, first export/import the dimension assets and check them. Also make sure that the actual data to be used for creating the dimesions exist in your source database. This should ensure the dimesion creation has happened and then migrate the metrics.
